Free entrance to the Hungarian Natural History Museum’s exhibitions
Thanks to the management of Museum, the participants of the conference can visit the Museum for free between 20th August and 1st September. Free check-in available between 10 and 17 hours.
Please contact the information desk to pick up your visitor’s card. You only have to tell, that you are a SEH 2013 participant, the clerk in the desk will have the list of registered participants.

Free entrance to the Tropicarium for registered SEH participants
Tropicarium Budapest is a particular indoor Zoo, where you can find Central Europe’s biggest shark aquarium. Thanks to the management of Tropicarium, the participants of the conference can visit this interesting Zoo for free between 21th and 28th August. Free check-in available between 10 and 19 hours at the cashier where your name has already been registered.

10 June 2013 – 17th Ordinary General Meeting
The 17th Ordinary General Meeting of the Societas Europea Herpetologica will take place between 17:00 – 19:00 on the 24th of August, 2013, in Veszprém, University of Pannonia. Agenda of the meeting can be downloaded from the Society’s homepage http://www.seh-herpetology.org/ news section.

30 May 2013 – GIS course
Between 28-30 August, right after the SEH congress a basic course on initiation to free/open source geographical information systems will be organized by Neftalí Sillero (SEH Mapping Committee, Centro de Investigação em Ciências Geo-Espaciais (CICGE), Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade do Porto ). The course is run mainly for MSc and PhD students, but other students and researchers from biological and related sciences are welcome as well. The course is FREE for SEH-members and costs 150 Euros for non-SEH members. For further information download the call and course description.
